Warrior 2

has a field trip today

Challenger Center that's where

He woke up at 5:30 am to get his lunch ready.

eats breakfast

brushes teeth

takes the garbage out if not done the night before

off to school at 6:30 am.

Princess

arises at 5 am to get ready for school

changes clothes 100 times

meditates in the bathroom for what seems to be hours

practices the piano

eats -- brushes teeth

make pretty pretty

smelly smelly good

puts the dishes away

if time permits, sticks a load in the wash.

Off to the bus stop at 7am.

Warrior 1

gets up at 5:30

sits on his bed staring at something

uses the bathroom for what seems to be an eternity.

get's ready

wears almost the same shirt every other day.

'Hey, I just washed that...you just wore it the other day? you have other shirts...pick another shirt to wear.'

Warrior 3

always sleeping in.

tries to sleep until 7:30 if can.

Sleeps on school clothes so he doesn't have to change in the morning.

gargle

eats and then brushes teeth

changes shirt when it gets wet from brushing or washing hands

then off to school between 7:40-7:50 am

Warriors and Princess are so different. =)

Mama and Papa Update

For the past couple of months talking to Mama and talking to Papa or hearing him in the background....here are just a few of the observations I've made regarding his condition. Mama tells me that caring for Papa is 24/7. Papa is not all there. Sometimes when Papa and I speak on the phone...it seems like I am speaking to a child.

He remembers everyone but he has become overly talkative, shouts and swears, cries out loud and more. His drooling has stopped which is good. He is still learning how to walk. There are a lot more that I will not share.

Mama often turns to the Lord, always praying for understanding and strength. That's the wonderful thing about her. She accepts the will of the Father. One day she and Papa were having a conversation as to why they are going through this TRIAL. Papa assured Mama that Heavenly Father doesn't give us to0 big and heavy of a CROSS that we can't carry. So, true. No matter how hard...they are keeping the faith.

*Papa is now able to walk about 10 ft. without any assistance. He is able to sleep longer without having to bother and wake up the "BOYS" (BANI AND BALAS) to use the bathroom and whatnot. Mama for over 2 and a half months was finally able to sleep and feel rested.

We were assigned to clean the chapel at 7 am this morning.

Warrior 4 treated us to breakfast. IOU. (We owe You)

The King had an activity with the single adults at the park.

We went. Brought water cooler/ice/cups since they forgot to bring.

Warrior 3 and I were dribbling soccer ball to each other until he found some of his classmates from school.

Came home. Took a nap with Warrior 4.

The 3 older Warriors were playing PS3.

Warrior 4 is sniffling again. Oh, no! Spits up "gala-gala" (phlegm). GROSS!

King's turn to nap.

Someone knocks at the door. One of the boarders next door. Their internet is down. She says, that her landlord referred them to the GUY WHO WORKS FOR OCEANIC CABLE next door. (yup! that would be the KING.) Told her the KING of Internet is napping and will let him go over when he wakes up.

Dad calls. Mom is on the island golfing. She will be visiting us later.

Okay, dinner is served. Mom made it to Laie. Princess out to greet her....a few seconds later calls the Warriors to help....

King is playing the piano. I love it when he plays. Warrior 4 is banging the piano.

We said our prayers and good nights. Mom gotta fly back tomorrow to Kauai early.

I tell you! We've been blessed. We still continue to get blessed. Was surfing the net and happened to see an add for Taco Bell. They were giving out 1 million Tacos. FREE! We got our share. The GooeyGoos were stoked they got Tacos for free! Fun FHE activity.

Warrior 4 getting antsy strapped in his little buggy. I unbuckle him and set him on the concrete. He was happy crawling outside...he can crawl fast. It didn't phase him that the floor was rough. lots of room that's why.

Nursing warrior 4 and little Kahana says "ooh, he is eating your OPU!" bwahaha.

Anyway, New Year's Day I took a nap while the Warriors and the King hung out at the dumpster to dump JUNK....but I heard they ended up staying longer to help other people unload their junk into the containers. The King is sure helping the boys experience work and service. What a way to start the new year. =)

Anyway, we enjoyed ourselves at PCC this evening. We got complimentary tickets from Bobby Akoi. i'm so sleepy ...i'm going to finish this tomorrow.

We had fun! Dinner was fab and the show was great. I miss the water melon sherbert in the pineapple delights. (just how I remembered them in 1993).
