My Warriors

Happy Sabbath  Everyone!  These Warriors are not little anymore.

We have Warrior 1!  He  is 20 turning 21 in April.   He works hard.   He is very good at doing laundry and washing the dishes!  He hangs them on the clothesline very neatly.   He is very generous and taught himself to play the Uke.  You'll hear him strumming his Uke on his way home from work.  =)

Warrior 2  is 17 years old will be graduating from Kahuku High School in May.  He will shortly turn 18 in June.  He is a hard worker.  He is THRIFTY!

Warrior 4 is 6 years old TURNING 7 in May.  He is in the 1st grade.  He loves soccer and basketball.  He is into singing!  He loves and misses his sister but looks up to his brothers.

Warrior 3!  He is 13 going on 14 in March.  He is the inventive one.  He is into airsoft guns and he is making his own ghille suit.  He is not afraid to try and eat anything that Mama Thel cooks.  (dinengdeng and fried stinky fish or pork cooked in pig's blood, Sardines)

I'm proud of these Warriors.  I wish for them to find JOY in this journey of life. I wish for them to SUCCEED.   Be grateful and be humble, turn to the Lord for strength when things are good and not so good.  Choose the Right!  FORGIVE. LOVE. Be kind.   BE AWESOME! BE YOU!

Can you tell who loves to take pictures?  SMILE!

Who is the poser?
Can you please just smile for once?
Nice one.
Different interpretations of SMILE!

Homecoming Basketball

Kahuku Basketball

It's always more fun to watch the game ....any game with friends.

After school

No one showed up for tutoring today.  Most 3rd graders went to camp Erdman!

He was trying to find Warrior 3's small turtle that he painted when he was in First Grade.

This little one is not so little anymore.  He misses his sister a lot.   When the Warrior 2 and Warrior 3 are getting ready to go to school and their friends are outside he quickly goes outside and says hi and bye…they are really nice to him  and acknowledge him.    He tries hard to have big boy conversations with the older boys. Sometimes I see them give Warrior 4 "hi-5's" when he says "hi" or "what's up?"  I think is awesome!

Warrior 4 wanted to send this picture to Sis. Goo.  I asked Warrior 4 what he wants to say to his sister and this is what he came up with.  Love this kid.  He can be a rascal but he has a tender heart.

"I miss you.  I love you.  Have a good day at the MTC.  Uuuhmmm.  XO XO lol.  Make that two LOLs"

Guess how much I love you?

This evening Warrior 4 was missing his sister.

He loves his sister "thiiiiiiiiiiiiss much!"
The King was secretly making him crack up.  Popping his head  in and out of the door.

Aloha Friday

It's Aloha Friday!
Warrior 4 wanted to greet his sister good morning before heading to school today.

"Hi Stream!  I had waffles today with whipped cream, chocolate syrup and bananas sprinkled with powdered sugar.  Have a good day at the MTC!  Love,   Rain."

MLK holiday

This is what we did on Martin Luther King day.  Found shells at Kaena beach park.

Only the big kids went on the hike.

Lauren and Anika mastered their pose.

The pink pill box is dedicated to those with breast cancer.

Warrior 3 and Warrior 2 being themselves.  Just lovely.

Enjoying the beauty of Heavenly Father's creation.

Anika took this panoramic pic.

Maili Pill Box

Here it is!  The very last pill box!  Aunty Grace and I literally crawled we were scared of  of heights!  I refused to look down and just focused on what seemed like a very narrow path.  We did it!

Stephanie

We went to Denny's in Provo next to BYU to eat a late breakfast. We had a young waitress, seems like she'd been working there a while because she knew the orders of the regular customers. She is very slim, with piercing and tattoos. Overheard her conversations with her regulars and learned that she is a single, divorced and she was able to spend time with her daughter this past week. Anyway, long story short . The King left her a good tip. Sorry, I peeked.

Payson Temple

We are almost there!

Seen and heard

We landed in Vegas and was waiting for the King at Budget rental car. Warrior 4 gives Princess a kiss and then makes a funny face and asks "what was that? I felt something poking mS!" Princess cracks up.
