Air Riflery: Warrior 3's 1st Meet

Kahuku Intermediate and High School.

I think he found his new love.  Warrior 3 did good for his very first meet.  He's had 3 weeks of shooting time with the club ...and that is not everyday.   Try once or twice a week of practice.  The coach said that for the short time that he has been with the club, he is doing pretty good.  In fact he wants him to join them on the invitational at Leilehua High School and to another one in St. Louis.  I've never seen Warrior 3 so calm and collected.   Yoga is my zen...while air riflery is to Warrior 3.  I'm actually excited for him to join the varsity team next school year. =)

We also  got to see second cousins Rachael and Joseph Waite (Children of Paul and Mariah Waite).
Mariah Aniu Waite is the King's 1st cousin.

Warrior 4 also had a turn at shooting!  =)

The King got to play with this one.

Flowers

The Lovely Flowers
These flowers….are for Sister Goo, Sister Miller and Sister Brinkerhoff

This whole week I've been thinking about Sister Goo and FLOWERS lately.  Yes, flowers.
=)   At work we (a student and me) sit outside by the benches right outside the 1st grade classrooms.  We no longer stay in P7….we now go to their classrooms  and service these kids.   Anyway, the benches next to the elevator, there is a tiare bush and noticed all the tiare blossoms on the ground.  They reminded me of Sis. Goo and how she wears them  and how beautiful she looks wearing them.  =)

Anyway, I was on Facebook today …this morning Friday 2/19/16 …there were several posts of plumeria and tiare for sale.  Talia Brown’s mom posted them.  Again, so pretty  da flowers…I  thought of Sister Goo and her Tongbans (companions).  Sister Brinkerhoff and Sister Miller and how it would be cool for them to have some piece of ALOHA that they could wear on their hair to brighten up their day.  I don't know if they can wear it but I was just thinking.  Anyway....

I went to work.

After work..I waited for Warrior 4, he ended up going with John (Cassandra Miller's son).  I went to Foodland and then drove all the way to Kahuku  (oooh, so far =) to buy those fake flowers.  I bought 3 plumerias and 3 tiares.

I came home from Kahuku…checked mail and hey what do you know!  We got mail from our missionary  The many expressions of a missionary envelope arrived in the mail!  That was fast!  I couldn’t wait to open it.  At first I was like should I wait?  nah.   No, I should wait….so Warrior 4 can open it.  But then I don’t know what time he’ll be home from John Miller’s house…oh what the heck….I opened it =)  Everyone got one!. I read mine first of course…then followed by everybody’s letter.  I was cracking up reading Warrior 2 and Warrior 1's letter.

I have seen the hand of God reaching out to us today.
Anyway, I would like to share a part of Sister Goo's letter. She said, "The only really sad thing about this time of year is that because it is still winter, there are no leaves on trees no flowers on bushes and no birds and bees flying around.  People say that flowers are expensive in Utah.  I realize that I have not  fully appreciated what I had and the amazing place I call home until I can't enjoy the simple things like picking flowers off a bush and breathing fresh air”.

I was like …NO WAY!  My Miss (that's what i call her) is missing picking flowers!  And here I was  thinking of her and flowers this week, seeing them on the ground at work  and picking up “fake” ones for her and her companions?   How is that even possible?  Coincidence?  No Way!  Do you recognize Heavenly Father working here?  Which brought this quote to mind from Elder Henry B. Eyring on Tender Mercies:  “Have I seen the hand of God reaching out to touch us or our family today?”  Yes, I do.  I have seen the hand of God reaching out to us this week.

Heavenly Father knows each one of us.  We matter.  He loves us.

The West side!

We are so tiny in this vast world.  Yet, he knows and loves each one of us.

The afternoon hike on Presidents' Day.

God created all things wonderful and magnificent!

I'm glad that I live on this beautiful world.  Heavenly Father created for me. (us)

We love hiking!  =)

The King's Door

The King's door got attacked by little ones from church.  How sweet!

We got a snail mail!

Super excited to get a letter from Sis. Goo! It's like Christmas! Everyone gets to hear from our dear Sis. Goo. The the three older Warriors are not home yet! I'm anxious to read ...I mean I'm anxious to hear what their dear sister has to say or has written. :). Later tonight before bedtime. Maybe? Haha.
