THIS MORNING AS WE WERE TRYING TO FACETIME GRAMMA. DAD CAME HOME AT 9 AM.   RAIN WAS ALL SAD.  ADING RAIN HAS A TENDER HEART AND SO DOES REEF.

GRAMMA THOUGHT THAT REEF WAS GOING TO WORK SINCE HE DIDN'T HAVE HIS CHURCH CLOTHES ON YET.

COME UNTO HIM AND HE WILL HEAL YOU AND HAVE ETERNAL LIFE.

HE WILL DO ANYTHING TO TAKE THIS FROM YOU…INFACT HE ALREADY HAS.

-ATTEND, PONDER, STUDY AND FIND PERSONAL MEANING AND APPLICATION INDIVIDUALLY

THROUGH ORDINANCE OF THE TEMPLE WE CAN BE ARMED WITH GOD'S POWER

ARE WE FULLY DRAWING UPON THE POWER OF THESE PROMISES?

ALL WOMEN NEED TO SEE THEMSELVES AS ESSENTIAL AS PARTICIPANTS IN THE WORK OF THE PRIESTHOOD.

LISTEN TO MESSAGES OF OUR LEADERS.

FAITH—WHAT IS IT, WHAT IT CAN AND CANNOT DO

FAITH IS POWERFUL ..OFTEN IT RESULT IN MIRACLES BUT NO MATTER HOW MUCH FAITH WE HAVE..THERE ARE TWO THINGS FAITH CANNOT DO.

1. FAITH CANNOT VIOLATE ANOTHER PERSON'S AGENCY
—AS PAINFUL AS IT MIGHT BE FOR OUR FATHER IN HEAVEN…HE WILL NOT FORCE ANYONE TO CHOOSE THE PATH OF RIGHTEOUSNESS. GOD WILL INVITE, PERSUADE, REACH OUT TIRELESSLY WITH LOVE BUT GOD WILL NEVER COMPEL.

2. FORCE OUR WILL UPON GOD. WE CANT FORCE GOD TO COMPLY TO OUR DESIRES

THE PURPOSE OF FAITH IS NOT TO CHANGE GOD'S WILL, BUT TO EMPOWER US TO ACT ON GOD'S WILL.

FAITH IS TRUST.. TRUST THAT GOD SEES WHAT WE CANNOT, THAT HE KNOWS WHAT WE DO NOT.

TRUST GOD!

GOD LOVES US PERFECTLY. IN THE END EVERYTHING WILL MAKE SENSE. ALL WILL BE MADE RIGHT. ALL WILL BE MADE WELL.

WE WILL BE OVERWHELMED BY THE LOVE OF OUR HEAVENLY FATHER. WE WALK WITH WHATEVER FAITH WE HAVE. SEEKING ALWAYS TO INCREASE IT.

FAITH COMES TO THE HUMBLE. DELLIGENT AND ENDURING.


ENDURING FAITH…KNOCK AND IT SHALL BE GIVEN UNTO YOU.
WILL WE GIVE UP AFTER KNOCKING ON A DOOR OR TWO? A FLOOR OR TWO? OR ARE WE GOING TO CONTINUE SEEKING UNTIL WE HAVE REACH 4TH FLOOR LAST DOOR.

GOD WILL REWARD THOSE WHO EARNESTLY SEEK HIM. BUT THAT REWARD IS NOT USUALLY BEHIND THE FIRST DOOR. CONTINUE TO KEEP KNOCKING. DON'T GIVE UP! SEEK GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART. EXERCISE FAITH... WALK IN RIGHTEOUSNESS.

EVEN ON 4TH FLOOR LAST DOOR. YOU WILL RECIEVE THE ANSWERS,THE KNOWLEDGE YOU SEEK. YOU WILL BE FILLED WITH LIGHT THAT GROWS BRIGHTER AND BRIGHTER.

GOD IS REAL. HE LIVES. HE KNOWS YOU. HE KNOWS YOUR SILENT PLEADINGS OF YOUR HEART. HE HAS NOT ABANDONED YOU. LIVE IN FAITH.

"THIS" IS THE WORK OF GOD!

Happy Happy Birthday to the King!

He works hard!

He has a big heart!

He is a man with many talents.

He can fix just about anything.

He is a man of service.

If he can do it, he will.

If he doesn't know how, he will figure it out.

He wants his children to succeed!

"i don't know how"  is not an option

mediocre is not acceptable.

He wants us to be problem solvers.

Figure out the problem and then find a solution.

He is tough.  He is love.

He is Dad!

DAD FOUND SISTER MARTINS IN THE  CHAPEL AND ASKED TO TAKE THESE GROUP SHOTS.  SHE IS PRETTY GOOD! SHE KEPT SAYING WAIT.

SO WE WAIT…. AND SMILE A LITTLE MORE

BY THIS TIME WE ARE CRACKING UP BECAUSE "IS SHE TAKING A VIDEO INSTEAD?"

TENDER MERCIES--Lisa Wagner

Lisa Wagner:  Look who I found at church today-- she looks and sounds so positive --- I didn't know she was here--the mission president is in our ward and he told me what a great missionary she is.

She lives in the area Gehrig goes to seminary -- I am going to find out how we can meet up with her and take her and her companion to lunch. I will talk with the mission president-- I am going to be in Hawaii in November-- if you want to send a small package for Christmas-- I will bring it back for you.

I didn't recognize her at first but she came up to me -- it is fun to find someone from home -- does she love it here??


I get this message today from Lisa Wagner.  How cool is that?  What are the odds that they would see each other in Taiwan!

Heavenly Father is so mindful of us. These are all tender mercies. I'm beyond happy that they saw each other!

It's such a blessing how "a piece of home" always seem to find Sister Goo. How cool is that?! Experiences like these keeps her spirits up.

AT THE LIBRARY

After MONDAY, AUGUST 15, 2016…=( Warrior 4 and I decided that to do his reading and math homework at the Kanahele Library.  He needed to get it done before we went home. It's been good.  Warrior 4  have lots of books to choose from for his 20 minute reading assignments.  He has read about different insects like the stick bug, cicadas, butterflies, flies, dragon flies, and more.  The funny thing about him reading the about these insects is that he gets grossed out and won't flip the pages with his bare hands.  he will grab something else to help him flip to the next page and continue reading.  

This book is cool.  Warrior 4 had a blast reading it even with no pictures!

Wednesday night…Warrior 2 had his Eagle Scout board of review.  These littles were happy playing together.  Warrior 4 with his besties!  N.Beard and L. Fakatava.

another cheerfest done!   the weather held up until we were packing up to go then it started sprinkling… Seniors won!  followed by the sophomores, then freshmen, juniors and then intermediate.

I asked Warrior 1 and 4 to write a letter to their sister and Warrior 1 ends up in Lalaland.
