Pinewood Derby

Well, it's that time of the year when the King and the Warriors bond. This time the King only had to help one of our warriors to cut, shape, mold and all that other manly stuff to create a masterpiece out of a block of wood. It's amazing what they came up with. I was not able to attend because I was sweating in Yoga doing Sun Salutations.   Anyway, here are some pictures the King took at tonight's Pack Meeting and Pinewood Derby Race. Enjoy!

FYI. The King and the Warriors are into Star Wars. So, without further ado, I present to you the work of Master King and his obedient apprentice!  Wait..I don't even know if this is a clone trooper or a storm trooper! I forgot! I think this is the bad guy trooper. Well, for you die hards out there I apologize for not knowing.   Anyway, here are the pictures!

Clone Trooper or Storm Trooper?

Storm trooper or Clone Trooper?

Great job, Warrior 3!

23 weeks and 5 days!

I knew it!  Warrior 4 just grew dramatically this past month!  My belly just popped!  I am 23 weeks and 5 days preggy.  Fundal height measurement is 24.  Clothes are getting super tight, I feel like an over stuffed LONGANISA (filipino saugage) ready to explode!   I gained so much this past month.  OMGulay!  You won't believe it!  I gained a big whopping 7lbs!  From 116.7 lbs last month to 123.6 lbs this month.  Hellurh!  I'm not even 24 weeks!   I weighed this much when I was 32 weeks with Warrior 3!

Anyway, I went to my monthly checkup today after work and  Warrior 4 was just  moving and kicking all over the place.  The doctor had a hard time locating his heart beat.  She would find it for a second and then it would disappear.  It probably took about 3-5 minutes before he finally settled down and we were able to hear his heart beating.  Strong 130 BPM.

Next month's check up I need to fast and drink that delicious flat soda.  Yum!  I need to do another blood test...I forgot what it's  for but if I pass my glucose test that would be the last time they are going to draw blood from me! Yey!

Buckets and Tap Shoes

The King took us to watch the group called  Buckets and Tap Shoes!  They were amazing!  Check them out on YOU TUBE!  The Warriors really enjoyed it!  Warrior 3 however was too tired to stay up and fell asleep  during the 2nd half of the performance.    After the show...we went to grab some doughnuts and ice cream.  The Gooey Babes stayed up and played games!

End of the Walk

That's it!  It's time to go home.  We don't want it to get too dark.

The Walk

Yesterday was a holiday!  We were fermenting like bago'ong at home.   I got dinner done early and I needed to get out.  I haven't exercised forever.  (that's what it felt like.)   I dragged the kids out with me to go for a walk on campus.  They don't like going for  walks with me..they'd rather go jumping on the trampoline next door.   I told them it's my turn to choose what we were going to do.  Uh-huh! They wanted to go jumping on the trampoline but I told them "NO".   I couldn't just leave them while I go for my sanity walk.  The first 3 took off!  They were sprinting and racing on slippahs and 4 little wheels.    Warrior 3 and moi were neck and neck.  Hellurh!

Check it out!  Mommy and Daddy  attended this school.  So, did Grandma and Grandpa when it was still called Church College of Hawaii.  That was in the 50's.  The school is old!
The 3 older kids were way ahead.  So, they parked themselves at one of the bike racks, as  they patiently wait for us.
Hey, wait for me!
Warrior 2 trying to go as fast as he can without crashing into the poles.
Just hanging out by the library's bike rack.

Warrior 3 following what Warrior 2 was doing earlier.  "Weeeeeeeeee!"
This is as close as you can get to a monkey bar.  So, enjoy it.

"Mom, is there a water fountain nearby?" asked Warrior 3.  "Yes, by the museum, behind the security office."  As we were getting ready to continue our walk, I pointed out to Warrior 3 that the guava tree had lots of fruits.  Since it was a little tree, he wanted to pick some out to try.  He just stood on the bench and was able to reach.
"I could wash them in the water fountain." says Warrior 3
First bite.  "Eew, it's sour!"

Check out his "that's gross!" look.  He looks scary  more than grossed out.
Moving on.  This short walk  around campus is taking longer than I anticipated.
Now, we have monkeys big and small climbing trees!  Swing those legs up and get up there.
Warrior 2 is sure enjoying his spot on that tree.  I wonder what was tickling his turtle?
Swing monkeys! Swing!

Here is Warrior 3 scratching his "kilikili" acting like a monkey.  You better hang on little monkey!
Warrior 1 can't climb the tree but was just happy  hanging!
"I'll race you to the next tree!"  says  Warrior 3 as he took off while Warrior 2 takes his time.
Time to go home...let's head back.
I was about 8ft away from Warrior 3 when he jumped off his biked and ran to a coconut tree.  In my head..."what is this boy doing now?"  Then I noticed him stoop down and was trying to pick something off the ground.  "What are you doing?"  I asked and noticed the dandelion on the ground that he was trying to pull out.  How cool is that?   Kids enjoy the simplest things in life.  I snapped some pictures to capture that moment.  He was so happy he found a dandelion!
When we looked at all the pictures that we took from our walk, we cracked up with this one because it looked like the dandelion was his nose.

"Check it out, Mom! A dandelion!  Can I blow it out?"

"Go ahead!  Blow away!"

Before heading home I took pictures of the GooBabes.  It turned out to be a great walk.  I didn't get my heart rate as high as I wanted to but it was a great bonding moment.  That would be my next post.  Gotta go make dinner before I go teach YOGA.  HELP!  I need a KOSINERA  or KOSINERO to do the cooking for me.

It's a Holiday!

Well, it's a holiday!  What are we going to do?  The Goo Babes are still asleep. The King have gone to work.  Can you believe it?  The King got his lunch and breakfast ready early this morning.  Early like 1 or 2 am.  He just had to warm up his breakfast in the microwave prior to leaving.  He stayed up again.  This time he was cleaning, organizing, decluttering part of the living room.  Too good ah!

Oh, and the Princess is up!  Practice the piano I hope she'll go.  Let me go and check....oh, and practicing she is!  May the force be with her fingers!

A load of laundry is going.  I'll be back.

I'm back.  First load is hung.  Another load is washing.  The Warriors are awake but still curled up in their blankets.

Hoping to have a great day today. =)

I have to go do my visiting teaching in an hour.  Need to go pickup a book from the library.  Turn in my hours for BYU-H.    Reply to people who  emailed me last month.   Sorry it's taking such a long time for me to respond.

Relaxing Day

What a day!  We made it to church on time today at 8 am. (Our 2nd time to be on time) For us that was an accomplishment since we love to sleep in.  Not to mention going to bed at 4 am.  That was pretty good!  The King went to bed later but he was the one who managed to get everyone up.  He had to leave early because he was playing the organ today.  Warrior 3 and I were the last ones to leave the house.  Uh huh..like 4 minutes before ate.   I meant to say 8 o'clock.

I must be hungry now.  I wasn't in the mood of eating anything heavy for dinner so I just ate cereal and milk.  I know...Warrior 3 was like "That's not dinner!"  Sorry,  but that's all I wanted to eat.  Now, I want something real.  I want some grilled steak, baked potatoes loaded with sour cream, green onions, shredded cheese and real bacon bits.  In my dreams yeah.  Not to mention...crab legs.  Now I'm getting really hungry.

Well, Warrior 4 is squirming a lot at this moment.  That is a good thing.  I go in for my 6th month check up in two weeks.  I wonder how much we've grown.  We were at the store last night shopping for food and we passed by the baby section.  I had forgotten how much diapers and formulas cost.  Hellurh!  Super takai deshoo?!  Sobrang mahal! Totally EEXPEENSEEB!  Not to mention that we have to start from scratch because we got rid of all our baby stuff ages ago.  We just need a stroller and  a car seat since Plain Jane gave us their baby's crib.    What else do we need?  Diapers, diaper bag, wipes, burpee rags, bottles, receiving blankets, onesies, jammies and little medyas (socks)!  What else?  Oh! Things for giving  baby a bath.  A little tub, wash cloths, baby wash, butt paste, polvo (powder) and little nail clippers!  Don't forget the swing!  That was a life saver because I was also looking after a friend's baby who was 2 months old when I had Warrior 3.  Yup!  While nursing Warrior 3 and the other BEBE would cry I used to rock that BEBE while he sat in his carrier with my foot.  Sometimes both my hands would be full feeding them at the same time!  Hellurh!    I know it felt like I had twins at home.

Anyway..I was just thinking.  These were  my thoughts...I had a nice and relaxing day today.  The King let me nap without anyone disturbing my slumber.  Thanks HoneyBuns!  You're the best!

Warrior 3 Loves Legos

Warrior 3 loves his legos!  He is very creative and often shows me his unique M.O.C.  What is M.O.C?  "My Own Creation!"  Duh!   Well, I was looking for certain buttons to put on my blog and I came across  this site where they use legos  to tell certain stories in the Book of Mormon. Fun!  Warrior 3 is at school right now and can't wait to show him.  I know it's been out for a while now because the King have used some of them in his power point lessons for Gospel Doctrine class.  Now,  I know where he got them from.  =)
