Youth Conference

The week after the Spring break was KUH-RAY-ZEE!!!

Physical Therapy appointments, cheerleading meeting, Visiting teachers coming, ORTHOPAEDIC appointment in town, short run to COSTCO, youth conference, baptism and movies with Gramma and Grampa Goo.

Thursday
1st day of Conference
King was asked to do the sound for the activity and dance. Well, I don't know the details but I'm sure the King was doing more than what was asked to do that evening. Anyway, Warrior 2 had a friend over for a sleepover. They were playing games and Princess was either on the computer. I was putting Warrior 4 to sleep around 9 pm and I dosed off with him. Around 11 pm I was awakened by Warrior 2 saying that the King needed our help at the BYUH stake center. We needed to leave right now. Hellow! Can I wake up first? Okay. I still can't believe we are needed there? What is happening? I need to put baby in the car. Turn everything off everyone in the car. Okay long story short. We get there...all his sound system things were all loaded in his truck. He didn't need us there after all.

We are home..time to unload. The King is limping big time! He pulled his calf muscles on his left leg. He pulled it pushing the partition at the Stake Center. He didn't want to ice it. The King tough! Can handle. I was tired. I went to bed. I think he then went to bed. The King has an early day tomorrow setting up camp for the conference.

We woke up early Friday to load camping things like cots for the girls, basins, generator, easy corner and etc. After the set up we went to eat breakfast at the Stake Center. Felt bad crashing the "party" since I didn't have a badge/tag to show that I am part of the conference. I registered but I never got my badge. Well, the King never had one either and he was more involved than me. So, I just brushed off the shame I felt. So, no shame. Bad ya? Well, the King said let's go eat breakfast so we all went.

After all that, we go home and we start doing chores, Gramma and Grampa Goo will be coming this evening. Need to make their beds, tidy up the house and I have visiting teachers coming at 10 am. We need to leave Laie at 2 pm to get to Princess' appointment at Kapiolani on time. The King suggested that I drop Warriors 2 and 3 at Cricket Field where the camp was set up so I don't have to take them with me and he has someone to help him over there. Remember that he is limping really bad. He could use the extra help. I know kids under 14 shouldn't be at the conference but oh well.

**
With the King's pulled calf muscles...he had a long stick to assist him in walking. Aunty Val Grace..said that "he is the MOSES at camp with his "staff".

So, we get to the appointment and the drive was longer that the appointment itself. Princess was like, "that was a waste of time!" =)

Well, we stopped at Costco to buy some eggs for the baptism tomorrow since we didn't buy them at Cackle Fresh earlier. Anyway, we finally made it home around 7pm...picked up Warrior 1's sleeping bag and extra clothes for the overnight portion of conference, dropped off Warrior 1's things and took Warrior 2 and 3 home. We went to L&L to buy orange chicken and noodles for dinner. Gramma and Grampa Goo finally makes it to Laie and brought lots of groceries with them (we are blessed). Put the groceries away... Tita 96762 brought more EGGS. PRINCESS and moih cut fruits for tomorrow ..finish Warrior 1's talk for tomorrow. then Off to bed i go.

first steps

Wow! Warrior 4 is on the ball. He took his very first steps this evening unassisted. The King and Princess witnessed this major step. I was in the kitchen making dinner and all I could hear was cheering from the King and Princess. He did it several times this evening. I was only able to witness Warrior 4 take 3 steps. Man, he will be walking in no time.

That is all. I thought that is worth sharing and remembering.

Fuzzy Fro

We were at Ala Moana one weekend and while walking around ...the King spotted this Indian doll on display. It had this wild hair!! I had to have a picture of it. It reminded us of Warrior 4's crazy hair. =) The King took the picture.

Check out Warrior 4's hair. Do you see the similarity?
Man, his hair makes his head look BIG!

Seen and Heard

After dinner the GooeyBabes are cleaning up. Warrior 3 doing the dishes. Warrior 1 and Princess are putting the food away and cleaning the table.
Warrior 2 wanted to continue to chat with a friend on Facebook.

Me: Warrior 2, sweep the floor please.
He goes and gets the "walis" (broom).
He is swinging the broom around and talking at the same time with Warrior 1.
I continue to observe his sweeping skills and there is a good 3 inches between the broom and the floor.

Me: Warrior 2, the broom needs to make contact with the floor.
Warrior 2: It doesn't have its number.

KIng: OMGosh! (laughs)
Warrior 2 and me laugh.

Mom & Dad

Legos are always COOL presents for Warrior 3. =)
I wonder when he'll outgrow this LEGO obsession.
Never?

After dinner, Warrior 3 had more presents to open. It's from Gramma and Grampa!
ooooo! It's LEGO BIONICLES! Awesome! DS game, clothes and books.
Thank you Gramma and Grampa.

*Warrior 3 didn't want a party with his friends. When asked why.. He replied, it takes too long. I guess he realized how much prep work it takes to put one together. The day after his birthday, he told me that it was still a good birthday because of the presents he got. LEGOS.

Anyway, we just had a small kine sleepover over the spring break. We had Liam Wilson and Joshua Fakatava come over. We just had pizza and root beer floats. Played video games until 1 am. Woke up the next day..had pancakes, sausages, spam and eggs for breakfast and then played video some more until 11 in the morning. =)

10 months old

Wow!
Time sure does fly.
Warrior 4 is now 10 months old.
He is a big boy now.
Very observant.
He is cruising around the house with a lot more confidence.
He pulls the kitchen towels out of the cupboards and pulls the DVD's and video games out of the shelves.
He is very inquisitive and interactive.
He is very happy.
He loves to play TITBA (peek-a-boo) even if it is just a pole separating us.
He'll lean way over to the right to a point where his head almost touches the floor.
He is a crack up.
He mimics us. We BURP and he tries to BURP.
Warrior 2 is very good a making him giggle and smile.
Well, actually everyone does.
He is loved by all.
His hair is just as fuzzy as ever.
He loves to see the King off to work.
As the King walks out the door Warrior 4's legs will start kicking, signaling us to take him out. Warrior 4 gets a kick out of playing in the drivers side of the King's work van.

He wakes up every 4-5 hours.
sleeps longer with mommy and the King
He is usually up by 5:30 am or 6:00 am.
He is eating more solids. Bread was added as one of his snacks.
We are slowly weaning him off me.
What a blessing indeed that I am able to nurse him this long.
I was not able to do that with the other 4 GooBabes.
He screams and shrieks with fear when he wakes up.
He is obedient when the King speaks.
Finally enjoys looking at books instead of gnawing at it.
Notices different sounds. Trucks, birds, rain, roosters, airplane, dogs and cats.
Enjoys watching the dog in the movie "BOLT".
this is WARRIOR 4.
