Time to Celebrate!
I finally finished the book! Wow! I can't believe I read a book that thick? For those of you who don't know me....I hate reading. I never liked reading novels for my English classes all throughout high school and college years. I always dreaded it. Boring....I couldn't get interested enough. Chapter books forget it. Children's books ...well, that's more my level. Anyway...I should reward myself a tub of chunky monkey ice cream. Hey, that was a big accomplishment! I actually finished it! It was good reading. I'm actually anxious to read the next one. Thanks Plain Jayne for lending us your book.

Twilight!
Well, did that title get your attention? Anyway, Princess is done reading the book. She read it in a week, in between hw, piano, gymnastics, and choir. Hello. I bet you if she didn't have school she would finish the book in a day or two. She is an avid reader this Princess of mine. After she finished the book which was a couple days ago, she asked me if I'm going to read it. I told her that I will attempt to and she just laughs. Hey, it may take me a whole month or even the rest of the year but we'll see. Plain Jayne just let us borrow the book so the latter is probably not an option.

Anyway, it was a lot of work but a lot of fun working with the other parents. anyway, this is all for now. I'll post more later. Nighty-night!

Warrior 2 to Camp Timberline
Warrior 2 is off to Camp Timberline. He is gonna be gone for 3 days and 2 nights.
I was craving for stirfry with fried tofu. I know FRIED tofu. How healthy is that? I didn't care...I just wanted to eat it. I seasoned it with a little bit of Korean BBQ sauce. Oh, it was a quicky but so yummy. It sure satisfied my cravings!
This next one is probably a weird dish for some of you but I was craving chicken "kelaguen". We used to eat this stuff at parties in Guam. It's grilled chicken, with grated coconut, chili peppers, green onions, calamansi, lemon or lime and beer to go with that. Gotcha there. No beer included. Well, I cheated. I got the hulihuli chicken from Foodland and chop chopped the breast and green onions, added a little salt and shqueezed lots of lemon, didn't have freshly grated coconut, too lazy to get chili peppers...it still tasted good. Traditionally, it was eaten as is...but I learned to eat it with white corn tortilla from Aunty Rose Ram...I wanted some greens with it so I added green leaf lettuce and squeezed more lemon. Oh, it's salty (perfect saltiness), sour and good!

e . nun . ci . ate |iˈnənsēˌāt|
e . nun . ci . ate |iˈnənsēˌāt|
verb [ trans. ]
say or pronounce clearly : she enunciated each word slowly.
We've been working on passing some of Warrior 2's requirements in his Webelos book and had this story to tell.
Warrior 2: In primary, Sis. Ellis was telling us to enunciate when we sing. She asked us what the word meant and no one answered. She then mentioned that there is a kid in Junior primary that knew what the word meant. In my head I knew she was talking about Warrior 3. Sis. Ellis was surprised that someone in CTR 6 knows the answer. So, she turns to ask Dad how old Warrior 3 is (the King was playing the piano). And Dad said, "Five." (Warrior 2 shaking his head --because his little brother is no longer five but is six years old.)
ME: why didn't you correct Daddy?
Warrior 2: Princess did. She told Dad that Warrior 3 is six but he insisted that he was five.
Anyway, that was funny. The King is getting old.
I can just imagine Warrior 3 raising his hand quickly and way up high waiting to be called. Warrior 3 is our motor mouth and likes to make conversation.
I remember when he was two or three years old. Every time we would go somewhere, he would always have something to say. It didn't matter what time his mouth would keep going. I specially like the times when we would drive home late around 11 o'clock ...the 3 other gooey babes are asleep, comatosed, knocked-out and snoring.....Warrior 3 would still find things to talk about from the time we pull out of Wal-Mart Mililani parking lot to Laie. Very verbosa if you tell me for a little guy his age.
Anyway, he is know in first grade, no longer a little gooey. Anyway, going back to the word enunciate. Warrior 3 knew the meaning of the word since he was 2 years old. We were working on this topic one summer to help Warrior 1 speak clearly. That's how he learned the word.

No School today!
I slept in.
I didn't go exercise.
The King looks good and sounds good. I don't hear him moaning and grunting as he gets off the bed. It doesn't look like he is carrying a ton of bricks struggling to get up. He is looking better. He even made breakfast.
Did an hour of work for Coach K.
Left to go to BYUH gameroom at 12! We played bowling. Played pool. Air hockey and Ping-pong! Ate at the snackbar. Had some fish
and chips, LocoMoco, veggie burger and taco salad. Got home at 4pm and I took a nap! The beach would have to wait. We had a cutie visit us this evening. Our little Aaron next door. Here is a picture of him. Isn't he adorable?

CHIRO--3rd Adjustment
The king is going to see the Chiro 2x a week since his range of motion has increased from the initial visit. Yehey!
Warrior 2's Pack Meeting
He received several awards this evening. I have no pictures because I forgot to bring the camera. Played a game --throwing frisbee at several targets. The kids formed a balloon orchestra as we sang "You are my Sunshine." We had s'mores in back of Bishop's house.
Well, here are the pictures of Warrior 2's awards. It would've looked better if the Warrior himself was in the picture.

CHIRO--2nd Adjustment
Well, the King and I went to the CHIRO again yesterday (Tuesday 8-26-08). It was his 2nd adjustment. After his second adjustment he was told to come back for his third one for the week. (Thursday 8-28-08). The King is looking better. He is able to get up without grumbling and moaning. He was actually standing in front of the stove making us dinner instead of laying on the floor suffering. =) Yippe! It's good to see some progress.
