I can't sleep!

I need to sleep but I can't.    I tried.  I have been tossing and turning for an hour.  Maybe writing what's on my mind is going to do the trick.    After the Christmas program last night, we came home and I was just really sleepy.   It just felt like I didn't stop moving yesterday.   We ran out of milk in the fridge and we were also out of soymilk in the pantry.  Hellow!   I had to dilute evaporated milk so Warrior 3 can have milk with his cereal.   After work, I had to go shopping for food.  Put groceries away.  Had to squeeze in a couple loads of laundry and then started making dinner at 2:30.   Pasta alfredo with bacon, spinach, and  mozarella cheese.  I was craving for pizza after seeing an ad from midweek ....so I ordered the PAN-ormous pizza and the cheezy bites.   Ate dinner at 3:30.  Took Warrior 3 to choir.  Came home, took shower and got ready for the program, hung a load of laundry, went back to pick up Warrior 3, dropped him home so he could shower and get ready.  Went to the high school to  pick up our Princess from gymnastics so she can make it to her choir practice, went home, got the Warriors and the King in the van.   At 5:30 we were at the CAC.   That's all I did but it just felt like I did a lot more.
Anyway,  I actually went to bed around 9:30  I don't know what time the King went to bed.  I woke up around 3 am and he was still up.  Around 4:oo, I was awakened by his loud snores  and then I couldn't go back to sleep.  So, finally at 4:30 I got up..went to the kitchen checked my mail and replying to Aunty Esther about choir's  Saturday sectionals.   So, what to do?  Made bread and made some kind of quiche.  Simple ingredients.  2 potatoes-chopped, 6 eggs, shredded cheese, ham, a little bit of onions chopped, green onions for color and salt/pepper. Stick it all in the oven for 30 minutes @ 400 degrees and walah!    Mix some OJ and breakfast is ready.
I planned to go walking this morning too but I was afraid to go out by myself in the dark.   Did laundry instead.  Just one load.

The King and I went to Castle for my 16 weeks check up and  I gained 2 oz. in 3 weeks.  I am  ANEMIC.  They drew more blood to see any abnormalities  blah blah blah..because of my age I am at risk of having a Down's Syndrome baby and what not.  Baby's heartbeat is strong, beating roughly about 140 bpm.   We will find out in two weeks what we are having.

Anyway, my appointment practically took our whole morning.  We got home around noon.   Did two more loads...  fell asleep folding a load on my bed and I woke up kids are home from school,  Princess left for gymnastics,  the King is gone.  He took the van  and don't know where he went.    Hung the laundry...washed the dishes (because I couldn't wait for the kids to finish their HW and start the dishes...I wanted the sink clean!  Pronto!  So I ended up doing it.) It is time to make dinner again! Our job is never ending.

Well, finally called the King and his voicemail picked up.  left a message asking where he was at and for him to call us.  Then our landlord comes looking for him.  I was like I have no idea.  Come to find out the King was at the other house doing some plumbing for our landlord. Hello!  On his day off..he still has to work!?    Okay, I am getting sleepy now.  Laters.   oh, but before I close....for those of you who know the King...  i came home from yoga to a dark and empty house.  he left me a note on my computer stickies and it read..."We went to Mexico.  Be back on Tuesday.   Love, Us"    It made me smile!  And then I was like....what the heck?  That doesn't tell me where they are at.  Some helpful note.   Not!  He is so koo koo that King of mine.  I figured out where they were at.  At the chapel...practicing with the youth...he was playing the piano.

night night!
