Love at Home

Love at home was our topic for FHE last nigh at the Keni house and it was a good reminder for us all. We need to be honest, we need not yell, we need to help each other, help keep the house clean and all that wonderful stuff are all key ingredients for having LOVE in the home.

As Plain Jayne was giving the lesson, thoughts came to mind that yes, we ought to do all that for our family. In reality, more often than not we tend to show more love to other people aside from family members. We tend to speak softly and kindly with others, while the ones we love we tend to speak harshly and mean to. Why is that?

We are quick to give help when they are in need. I'm not saying that it is wrong to serve others but the love and kindness that we show others should also be shown if not more within the walls of our own home.

Is there such a thing as too much service? How thin can a person spread themselves to help others? How thin do we spread ourselves to serve our own family? Anyway, just a thought. I better stop here because I don't want to sound more stupid if what I wrote was stupid to begin with.
