What a Way to End the Summer

Well, the King wakes us up and calls everyone to the living room. He takes a breath and says, "I have bad news." He picks up a piece of paper and looks at it and then hands it to me and suggests that I read it. At the the top of the page it read: NOTICE TO VACATE AT THE END OF SPECIFIED TERM--RESIDENTIAL.

YES, Mr. Blevins is not renewing our lease which expires the end of this month. Wow! I didn't see that coming. Mr. Blevins told the King that since his kids are now in charge of managing all his rentals...his kids were the ones who wanted to renovate. The house sure needs that but we are bummed. The King is overwhelmed with emotion ....composes himself and tells me and the kids that we are going to be alright.

That means we have to pack all our stuff which we've accumulated in 11 years in less than 30 days. Where do I begin? School starts tomorrow, orientation for Princess and WArrior 2 and back to babysitting...The King still has to go to work.

Where are we going to go? If we don't have a place...we will be homeless...the kids will qualify for free lunch and free bus transportation. That's looking at it as the glass half full! LOL. Ha ha ha ha ha ha. Be positive yeah!

So, our summer ends.

Wow, Cherry! What a bomb to have dropped on you. I'm so sorry, and, yikes! What a lot to have to do in thirty days. Wish we could be there to help... The Lord will provide something. He always does, doesn't He? Hopefully you'll be able to stay near? We'll be praying for you...
Hugs and Aloha,
Marneen

@Marneen: thanks. He is always watching over us. I don't feel too worried. I guess it hasn't hit me yet. I'm staying positive though.

@Carol: I know it's crazy ya? But it is Blevin's house so they can do whatever they like. I'll let you know if we do need your help. Thanks.

what a shock! Your faith is strong, and the Lord does indeed know you and your family. Since I already read the recent posts, I am relived that you found a place.
