"Never to young to learn..."

The King teaching Warrior 4 and Warrior one to fix the lights on our old white Dodge Caravan.  It is 14 years old.  The body is all rusted.  The windshield  is cracked.  When it rains it drips on the passenger side.  Anyway,  what a great teaching moment…Warrior 4 was able to use Daddy's tools and to get his hands a little dirty.  He was able to assist in turning the car on, pressing the brakes , blinker on and off, and whatever the King needed help with.  Warrior 1 was super helpful in assisting as well.  I just stood  and observed …the King would not let me but in…haha.  Duh…he was teaching the boys.  I helped hold the flashlight when it got dark.

Anyway, which reminded me of this quote I heard for a talk on Sunday during sacrament meeting and then I read it again on  an article at the LDS Living website.."You are never to young to learn and never too old to change."

Keep learning….no matter how old or how young we are…be open to change…change old or bad habits to better ones.  be more kind… exercise…get physically and spiritually strong…recognize the hands of Heavenly Father in all things…the more grateful...eat more vegetables, serve more, read and ponder more. go to the temple more..if you don't know how to do some things…then figure it out, search it out and learn how to do it.

ya.  das all.  today was a good day.
