Pray for Comfort

Friday night  we went over to a friend's house for FHE and Warrior 2 was looking at a book and  showed Warrior 3  some pictures from the book that Warrior 3 thought were scary.   Anyway, came home after 10 pm and the Warriors stayed up playing until 2 am.  At 2:30, I noticed the hallway light on.  I get up to turn it off.  A moment later it was back on.  Well, Warrior 3 was still in the bathroom brushing his teeth and found him in tears.  I asked him what was wrong and he said that Warrior 2 showed him some scary pictures and wants the lights on.

Well, I told him to hurry up and go to bed.  I wait for him and we both go in their room (the Warriors' room--the older Warriors were  fast asleep).   I suggested that we should say a prayer to help him go to sleep and forget about the scary pictures.   We said our little prayer and he seemed fine after that.  I also suggested that he sings primary songs to help him forget the pictures if they come back.

So, Sunday evening after family prayer, the Gooey Goos went off to bed.   As I pass by the Warriors' room I noticed Warrior 3 in bed on his knees with his eyes shut tight.
So, proud of him.   He knows what to do to get comfort.  He has faith that prayer works.  What a testimony.
